Thanks Google for today’s doodle honoring Carter G. Woodson as the inspiration for Black History Month, formerly Negro History week.
I have written a lot about black history, about women’s history, about LatinX history, Asian Pacific Islander history, LGBT history and highlighting folks who historically don’t get much ink except in their designated months.
I am not opposed to celebrating the months, but we need more than celebrations. 24 7 365 (366 in leap years) we need to recognize and highlight these achievements along with the true beauty of diversity.
To that end last year I developed skills on the Amazon Alexa platform, websites, and facebook pages. Easily accessible and nuggets of information. Please check out Black History Erryday on Facebook, BlackHistoryEveryday.com and Black History Everyday on Alexa.
Thanks for your support.
Peace, love, joy, gratitude, faith courage, compassion, and blessings.
