10 Things I learned from ‘Won’t You Be My Neighbor”

This was an incredible documentary and I was inspired.  Here are 10 Things I learned:

1.  Mr. Rogers was deep.
2. I was unaware of all of the issues he tackled in his shows like grief, conflict, divorce, segregation, and assassination.
3. I was not expecting to see Yo Yo Ma.
4. I was not expecting to see Ralph Ellison.
5. I was not expecting to see both Presidents LBJ and Richard Nixon.
6. I was not expecting to see Bobby Kennedy.
7. I did not know that Mr. Rogers did a PSA after 9/11.
8.  I did not know the double significance of 143.
9.  I did not know that Mr. Rogers was a minister.
10. I did not know of his knowledge of child development.
