Lions and tigers, and bears, oh my. Okay no, but lions, hyenas, mandrills, meerkats, warthogs, and more.
I loved this movie, the visual effects, the vocals, the music, and yes even the facial emotions or lack thereof of the animals.
Here are 10 things I noticed about “The Lion King”:
1. Jon Favreau is a brilliant director.
2. Tim Rice, Elton John, and Pharrell Williams killed the original music.
3. Alfre Woodward shines as Sarabi.
4. Seth Rogan perfectly cast as Pumbaa.
5. Chiwetel Ejiofor is also brilliant as Scar.
6. Sheila E helps with the drumming kit.
7. Donald Glover is also perfect cast in acting and voice for Simba.
8. Beyoncé Knowles-Carter singing is fine, voice acting needs work.
9. The young Simba and Nala voice actors were phenomenal.
10. Who else but James Earl Jones as Mufasa.
