She and her five siblings all graduated from Harvard.

She is married with 4 children.

Broadcast journalist, CEO, host, journalist, executive producer, and author.

Her name means ‘the blessed Virgin Mary of solitude’ in Spanish.

She produced Latino in America and 5 installments of Black in America while at CNN.

She is a member of the National Association of Black Journalists (NABJ) and the National Association of Hispanic Journalists (NAHJ).
