Oakland– Arise 2.0 is seeking submissions. We want your stories, we want to hear your voice. Stop complaining about how the traditional media won’t cover or tell your story. In this digital age all of us who use social media are telling our stories. We are breaking news.
Currently Arise 2.0 after only one month in existence has 17,880 followers and growing. So send us your blog and when we publish it, share with your page and invite your friends to like the page.
We will be at 50,000 on or before 1/1/17.
Keep the social in social media. After reading this please submit a blog. Anne Lamott gave the best advice for me on writing, “just write, do a shitty first draft”. No complaints about what you can’t do, you can and you do.
For those who care, here are our emerging submission guidelines:
Submissions should not exceed 1500 words in length (the shorter the better), you retain all rights to your work after publication. Cross-posting is encouraged Please copy and paste the entire document into the body of an email message to kiki@arise2ptoh.com. Do not send attachments.
Submit one piece at a time no formatting. Do not use colors or fun fonts.
Your name should be on your submission as you want it to appear on the byline. Put your name and mobile number under the proposed title of your piece. All submissions must look like this:
