I thought my kids were millennials, it turns out that I am out of touch.
I am a Baby Boomer, born in 1957. The span is from 1946 – 1964. My mother and I were the same generation. I don’t trust anyone who doesn’t remember John F. Kennedy’s assassination.
My dad’s generation and anyone born before 1945 is called the traditionalists or Silent Generation.
Gen X spans from 1965 -1976.
Millenials also known as Gen Y include those born from 1977 to 1995.
And my teens are the iGen, GenZ or Centennials, born 1996 or later.
